Anna-Mari Kähärä is a Finnish composer, pianist and vocalist. For several years, she has been the primus motor behind the vocal group How Many Sisters. Her contributions as a musical director/composer/ arranger in theatre productions have included a wide variety of musical styles. Aside her solo performances, her current musical activities include Zetaboo, a 5-piece mix of jazz/ethnic/rock influences, duo performances with violinist Pekka Kuusisto and Adiemus Singers with Karl Jenkins' Adiemus Project. In her solo performances, Anna-Mari Kähärä combines jazz, pop and ethnic influences in a unique way. In November 2002, she was awarded the Yrjö prize of the Finnish Jazz Federation as the first female jazz artist.
