What is SuPaTuS?

Finnish Trombone and Tuba Association (SuPaTuS) is established in 1984. It is a Finnish association for low brasses, their players, friends and for people who are just intrested in low brasses. Supatus is established to develop playing low brasses in Finland, expand knowledge of low brasses in Finland, take care of brass playing traditions in Finland, work as a link between brass players in Finland and create and develop Finnish brass players connections abroad.

SuPaTuS was the main organizer of the International Trombone Festival, ITF 2003 in Helsinki, Finland. Check the festival pages from here!

SuPaTuS was also one of the main organizers of the International Tuba & Euphonium Conference 2001 what is kept in Lahti, Finland at 4.-12.8.2001. More information about ITEC 2001: http://www.musicfinland.com/brass/itec/
