Lars Westergren plays the Basstrombone and the Contrabasstrombone in the Royal Opera Orchestra in Stockholm. He received the position in 1986 directly after his studies at the Royal Collage of music in Stockholm. 1992 Lars Westergren became Basstrombone teacher at the same school. Lars Westergren is frequently hired in the symphonic Orchestras in Stockholm and also appears in different chamber musicgroups and entertaining orchestras. In year 2000 Lars Westergren started to play with the new trombone ensemble "Trombone Unit 2000" with which he played in the ITF in Texas Denton 2002. |
