Ricardo Casero

Ricardo Casero was born in Buñol (Valencia, Spain), studies in Madrid, Indiana (USA), London and Sweden with Jose
Chenoll, Keith Brown, Denis Wick and Christian Lindberg. Casero has been awared in
several national and international competitions like Artist diploma in Indiana University, (USA),
Umeå festival of Arts (Sweden) and Porcia (Italy).He has performed as a soloist in Germany, England, Italy, Sweden, United States and Spain with orchestras such as the Orquesta Ciudad de Granada,
Orquesta Simfónica de Baleares, Orquesta Simfónica de Barcelona, Manchester Simphony Orchestra
(Hallé) and Orchestra Stabile di Bergamo (Italy). He has also performed in the International Trombone Workshop in Detmold (Germany).
He had performed with Christian Lindberg as a duo and as a soloist with the Lurs
Metall (Spanish Brass).
As a teacher special Courses and Master Classes in the main schools and Conservatory of Spain, Zaragoza, San Sebastian, Murcia, Irun, Vigo, Ciudad Real etc. Also in many youth orchestras around Spain. He has been invited by Joe Alessi to give a class at the Juilliar School of Music of New York. Also he has participated as a teacher in the summer courses of Oviedo (Spain) with Olav Ott (Principal Trombone of the Berlin Filarmonic) and the Spanish Brass Festival in Alzira (Valencia). Casero has been invited to be as a jury member in a national and international competitions like Spanish Youth Competition and 54 edition of the International Competition in Geneve (Switzerland). |
