Mr. Bildo has been an active chamber musician and a soloist. He has appeared as a soloist in many Finnish orchestras and ensembles including Helsinki Philharmonic orchestra, Avanti Chamber Orchestra and Sinfonia Lahti. He is a member of several festival orchestras, including The Savonlinna Opera Festival Orchestra.

As a versatile jazz loving musician he has become closely associated with the jazz groups like Jukka Linkola Octet, Edward Vesala Sound and Fury and Super Brass. He has also been an active conductor and he has been very many years conductor of Töölö Brass. He is the new conductor of Karelia Wind Orchestra.
