It's time for the Brass & Jazz Club!

The home for ITEC late night shows is now 'Brass & Jazz Club'. We have booked trios, sextets, tentets and a big band to play for us, also with euphonium and tuba soloists!

The program will come out in a week. Now we can tell you that it's just 45 meters from the Sibelius Hall, should be near enough for all regardless of condition. The capacity of the club is up to 1000 people if needed, kitchen has Rotisseur class staff and a wonderful menu and it's open to 2 am. Entry to the Club is free with the ITEC pass!

Thanks, Skip!

Our next TUBA President (all votes counted?) Skip Gray just visited Lahti earlier this week. We were working hard for three days with the conference. It was interesting to show him all the things we had already done and to talk about the things we still have to do. His experience as ex-host was really a big help for our team.

Skip is touring a lot as you know and many of you will meet him in Chicago or Washington. I am sure he has time to tell you shortly about the conference when asked.

The evening concerts are almost fine with the orchestras and ensembles, we will start the ticket selling for "normal" people in January. Actually we have already now almost 2000 reservations for the concerts. No worry for your tickets Brother, the whole concert capacity is more than 25 000.

Your Host,
Harri
