These varied experiences and contacts have been a determining influence in molding Jon’s extremely distinctive style and sound, which presently lends itself well to Heavy Tuba. Known as a true virtuoso on the Tuba, Jon is at home with many styles of music from jazz to classical. A funky and soulful musician at heart, Jon’s fresh approach stimulates a new impulse to the instrument.
